Guide
A GoFullPage alternative with an editor built in
If you use GoFullPage or another full page screenshot extension and want more after the capture, PageSnap is worth a try. It is built around what you do with the screenshot next.
What PageSnap adds
- Editing in the same tab. Arrows, boxes, text in the page's own font, highlights, numbered steps, a spotlight, emoji and pictures.
- Blur and auto-blur. Soft blur, pixelate or solid cover, plus one click to hide emails, phone numbers and card numbers.
- Text you can use. Copy text from the screenshot, run OCR (English and Arabic) on pictures and scans, and export to Word or Excel.
- More ways to capture. Full page, visible area, drag-to-select, a start timer, keyboard shortcuts and a right-click menu.
- Several pages, one document. Add pages by link or from another tab and export one PDF.
- Private by design. No account, no uploads and no analytics. Everything runs on your computer.
A checklist for any screenshot tool
Whichever tool you choose, test it on a page you really use:
- Does the sticky menu repeat down the image?
- Are lazy-loaded images and animated sections complete?
- Does it capture a long chat or web app, not just the visible part?
- Can you edit, blur and export without leaving the tool?
- Where do your screenshots go, and who can see them?
Switching takes a minute
PageSnap works with the shortcut you already know. Install it, open any page and press Alt+Shift+P. You can keep your current extension installed while you compare.
Frequently asked questions
Is PageSnap a good GoFullPage alternative?

Can I use both extensions at the same time?
Yes. Browser extensions work side by side, so you can compare them on the same page.
